ZOOMY 2.0

I first saw this at Eastside Elementary's Makerspace Open House and the students were finding ALL KINDS of neat stuff with it. Did you know that on the penny, you can find the Lincoln memorial between the columns? It's hard to see, but this gadget makes it so easy- and its a fun, easy challenge for the kids! Once we saw it, we knew we wanted it for the bus. It has only had a handful of trips on the STEAM Express so far, but it is quickly turning into a fast favorite! I liked it so much, I bought one for me and the boys to have at home!! I got lucky and nabbed one on sale on Amazon for $44. We have had so much fun looking at flowers, leaves, pennies, sponges,dead bugs (the pictures are of a dead dragon fly's wings and eye), and anything we can get our hands on! It's so much easier to use than fancy microscopes- this one just has a USB cord that plugs into the computer. It's so easy, my 5 year old has it all figured out (and loves it too).
